Vintec consistently deliver for Facilities Management Company
Inviron manages, designs, installs and maintains a wide variety of environments nationwide. With an annual turnover of over £120m they employ around 1,000 people directly and many more indirectly.
One of the facilities managed by Inviron is RAF Brize Norton in Oxfordshire.
RAF Brize Norton is where the majority of military personnel are deployed from on their tours of duty and operational movements. The Gateway House provides short-term accommodation for up to 360 personnel at any one given time and is an extremely important MOD asset.
Inviron being the incumbent Measured Term Contractor at RAF Brize Norton were asked to begin a small programme of works, in July 2006, to replace part of the Hot Water System. However, the building which was erected in the 1960's, was found to have Asbestos Insulation that was breaking down and had to be removed.
The MOD then decided to undertake a major refurbishment of The Gateway House alongside the asbestos removal. Inviron manages the refurbishment project on behalf of the MOD.
Analytical services
Inviron requires analytical asbestos testing to identify where they need to manage or remove asbestos.
Vintec Labs carry out a range of analytical services for Inviron at Brize Norton including Type 3 Surveys, air testing including 4 stage certificates of reoccupation and soil testing.
