Asbestos Surveying
Our team of experienced surveyors and analysts are all trained to BOHS (British Occupational Hygiene Society) standards. We provide a full range of surveys to identify any asbestos containing materials present in a building and are fully accredited for Management Surveys and Pre-Demolition/Refurbishment Surveys.
Air Monitoring
Our team of mobile BOHS (British Occupational Hygiene Society) qualified analysts carry out asbestos air monitoring on a wide range of projects from planned large scale remediation works to emergency response situations. All analysts carry a full air sampling kit and microscope to allow results to be immediately available on site.
We can also provide Certificates of Re-occupation following completion of asbestos removal or remedial works.
Asbestos Bulk Sampling & Analysis
In situations where full asbestos building surveys are not required, our surveyors can sample suspected asbestos containing materials. Sampling is carried out in an unobtrusive manner and all sampling points are repaired on completion.
Samples are returned to our UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited laboratory for analysis by PLM (Polarised Light Microscopy). Reports are accompanied by photographs of the sample location and a material risk assessment with recommendations on how to safely manage any asbestos containing materials.
More and more we are finding that suspected asbestos containing materials are causing difficulties for home owners trying to sell their house. We understand the importance of resolving such issues quickly, as a result our bulk sampling services are being increasingly sought by estate agents.
On site support
For larger or long terms contracts, a dedicated team can be located on site to accompany ongoing refurbishment, construction or maintenance.
Advice and guidance
Our surveyors understand that asbestos can be an emotive subject and will work with you to allay the fears of staff or colleagues. Advice can be given on best practises for managing any asbestos containing materials that may be identified.
